Toads are a species dedicated to working hard and taking in the rewards for their hard work. Their personalities and emotions vary gratefully depending on their surroundings and society. Though they tend to act tough, when an actual threat comes about, they prove that they can run really fast away from the threat. You will be certain to encounter many Toads if you are in most civilized areas of the Mushroom Kingdom. You may find them on an uncommon occasion in rural areas. They have been sighted in haunted mansions before, but it is suspected that they were asked to investigate. They reproduce similar to how many mammals reproduce. They nurse their offspring for two years and train their children for five to six years. They are considered mature at the age of ten. Certain Toads serve Princess Peach in service to the castle.

Appearance
Toads have pokedot tops and are a short species. They have a somewhat Humanoid shape to them, though they are on average more rounder. Many wear a vest with an undershirt along with white ... pants? Diapers? I don't know what the heck to call them, but most Toads follow this trend, at least while in modest temperatures. Cold temperatures will have them wearing parkas and warmer attire.
Behaviour
Toads overall are a rather energetic species. They are also quite social. Threats will often cause them to cower in fear and flee, though some may attempt to stand their ground if it is a part of their duty. Overall they are helpful to others, regardless of race, though those of hostile factions will cause Toads to flee. There are some exceptions and some are rather grouchy.
Climate
Toads usually live in civilized areas or within castles of friendly royals. They are uncommon outside these areas and are rare in extreme climates.
Reproduction
It is rumoured that Toads reproduce sexually the usual way.
